Bill Evans
USGTF Member
Indiantown, FL

My name is Bill Evans, USGTF member for 14 years. I finally decided it was time to write a few words about what has happened since I became a certified member of the USGTF.

A friend of mine, well known to the USGTF, Mr. Andy Ritondale, introduced me to the USGTF back in 1989. I took the certification course and have been extremely appreciative to him ever since. It was the best week of my life and the experience opened a whole new world of satisfying employment, new friendships and many opportunities.

I’ve had the opportunity to watch the organization grow from its infancy, and as a result of our success both in this country and around the world, I have also witnessed the changes that the PGA has adopted in its structure simply to keep pace with us. We have however, already surpassed them on many fronts, especially in the area of teaching golf.

I am the head teaching professional at Indianwood Golf Club in Indiantown, Florida. My days are filled from 8 a.m. until late afternoon with private lessons. The golf teaching profession has helped me to stay young and as you can see from my photo, still pretty good looking! I plan on attending the World Golf Teachers Cup this fall in Orlando and look forward to seeing many of you at the event.
