Michigan/Ontario Golf Teachers Tour Starts 14th Season

For the past 13 years, golf teachers from the north central states and Ontario have been gathering in the warm weather months to feel the heat of competition, sharpen their golf skills, and enjoy the camaraderie of their peers. This year’s schedule has just been finalized:

The highlight of the tour’s season is the September Kelly Cup competition between the two countries. The event is named in honor of former USGTF member Thomas Kelly who died suddenly on the golf course in 2003. This year’s event will be played in Windsor, Ontario at Seven Lakes GC. The U.S. side regained the Kelly Cup last fall after two successive Ontario wins. Michigan leads the series 5-3.
