Bridgestone Golf, a leader in providing golf balls for players of different swing speeds and swing characteristics, has re-engineered its golf ball line for 2016. The company offers four tour-caliber balls: Tour B330:  For swing speeds over 105 mph and players seeking maximum distance.  According to the company, “The all new Tour Core is 6% larger and utilizes a steeper gradient in softness from the inner part of the core to the outer region, resulting in faster ball speed and more reduced spin off the driver than ever before.” Tour B330-S:  For swing speeds over 105 mph and players seeking more control. In addition to the same larger core seen in the Tour B330, the company says the Tour B330S has “A proprietary gradient technology in the core, allowing us to accomplish in one layer what others accomplish in two or three, leading to a smoother energy transfer and more power generated by the B330S.” Tour B330RX: For swing speeds under 105 mph and players seeking more distance. The company says, “The Amatour Core is 28% softer than the average tour ball core and utilizes a steeper gradient in softness from the inner part of the core to the outer region, resulting in faster ball speed and more reduced spin off the driver than ever before.” Tour B330RXS: For swing speeds under 105 mph and players seeking more control. The ball has the same technology as does the Tour B330RX, except that the ball features greater spin on control shots. USGTF members are entitled to a discount on all Bridgestone products.
