Sometimes a player seemingly comes out of nowhere and makes a splash. Such is the case with Kevin Kisner, who three times this year has not been beaten over 72 hole…and yet still does not have a victory. Kisner is 0-for-3 in playoffs, first at the RBC Heritage, losing to hardened veteran Jim Furyk; then at the Players, falling to Ricky Fowler; and finally, at the Greenbriar Classic, defeated by Danny Lee. Still, there should be no doubting that Kisner will be lifting a trophy in the near future. Kisner is part of the Georgia Bulldogs family of professional golfers, a group that has made a huge splash the past couple of years. Kisner was a member of the 2005 NCAA national championship team. He turned professional in 2006 and played various mini-tours before landing on what is now the Web.com Tour in 2010. He was promoted to the PGA Tour in 2011 but failed to keep his card, which he promptly earned back at Q-school. He lost his card again after the 2012 season but made his way back to the big tour in 2014. His stellar play in 2015 shows the potential Kisner has.
