The first event was LIV Golf, a successful event that was held March 7-9, featuring a $20 million purse. Hong Kong had the honour to host this golf event for the first time, and we were happy to welcome a great number of passionate fans to this year%u2019s event. We expect with this rich variety of events, they will stimulate the growth of the Hong Kong golf population and attract fans from all over the world. As for the Hong Kong Golf Teachers Federation, we conducted a successful summer certification course and are currently preparing for the next one.LIV Golf in Hong Kong carried out its unique format which was a fresh experience for Hong Kong fans. All players teed off at the same time from different holes, allowing for a more condensed and exciting viewing experience, finishing play earlier in the day. The tournament was a success, fiercely competitive and highly entertaining. It delivered a high-quality golf event with a vibrant atmosphere and strong fan engagement. Fans enjoyed a high-energy atmosphere, both on and off the course, with top-tier players and engaging fan experiences. Garcia won the event as he shot an 18-under-par total for the week to collect the customary $4 million prize from the overall $20 million purse. Dean Burmester was second and Phil Mickelson was third.The second event was the Hong Kong Open, which was played from October 30-November 2. The event attracted a large number of spectators from both Hong Kong and internationally, who enjoyed the electrifying atmosphere at the Hong Kong Fanling Course. This comes on the heels of the 2024 Hong Kong Open which was also a success, drawing tens of thousands of spectators and highlighting Hong Kong's vibrant culture and world-class hospitality. Patrick Reed, the 2018 Masters Champion, secured his first victory at this Asian Tour event. The tournament also featured engaging on- and off-course activities, making golf more accessible to the community.
