Surround yourself with people who support your growth on and off the course.Ibegan playing golf at the age of 11. Nobody in my family had ever played before, but after my very first lesson, my coach, a great professional, looked at me and my mom and said, %u201cShe%u2019s a natural. She needs to play golf, she%u2019ll do very well.%u201dThose words stuck with us. The very next day, my mom signed me up at the Argentine Golf Association Academy, where I practiced every day after school. I quickly learned that consistency and hard work were the keys to building my swing and finding the confidence to step onto a golf course. My routine became second nature: hitting at least 200 balls a day, spending hours on my short game, and learning from the many coaches and players around me. Being surrounded by other kids who were practicing, competing, and having fun made the process even more rewarding.Soon, I began entering tournaments, and winning. Every weekend, we traveled across the country, with my mom always by my side. Eventually, I rose to the top of the national rankings, which gave me the chance to travel the world and represent Argentina and South America. I had a vision and a dream: to become the very best I could be. But along that journey, I discovered lessons no one had ever explicitly taught me, lessons that came only from experience. These are the secrets I now share with my students:My Golf Lessons for Life and PerformancePlay against the course, not the players.Your true opponent is always the golf course. Don%u2019t waste energy comparing yourself to others, focus on beating the layout in front of you.At the range, focus on what works for you.Work on your technique, but prioritize what feels comfortable and builds confidence. That%u2019s what will hold up under pressure.
