GOLF TEACHING PRO%u00ae 59 WINTER 2O26We have been very busy visiting various courses and facilities in the Canary Islands laying the foundations ready for the launch of our new WGTF coaching courses, initially in Gran Canaria. STORIES FROM AROUND THE WORLD CANARY ISLANDTo suit all budget types and needs, we have a number of accommodation options and food and beverage options available to our new coaching course members. We are seeing an increasing desire to run coaching courses specifically aimed at those who wish to coach juniors and ladies, and as such we will also run courses that will target that specific desire. All of our locations offer the highest quality golf and learning facilities for our new coaches to experience a truly great WGTF experience. Watch out for more locations across the other Canary Islands and updates of our inaugural coaching course!NEWS FROM THE CANARY ISLANDSBy John Carr, USGTF MemberAs the coaching courses mature and interest grows, we will expand our training courses to the other islands in the Canaries with Tenerife being the next area we expand into. In Gran Canaria, we have been working with Anfi Tauri, Meloneras, and Salobre Golf Clubs to host us and offer our coaching qualifications on their facilities. Not only are their ranges and golf courses first-class, their classroom environments are also extremely well set up for the theory parts of our courses.
