USGTF Master Teaching Professional Scott Millman wants to make a difference, not only with the golf games of those he helps, but with the lives of our wounded veterans and others facing physical challenges.

Millman spent 20 years in the steel industry, but felt he wasn’t having an “impact on the world,” as he put it.  He earned his Level IV certification in 2011, and then traveled to Orlando to become certified in teaching adaptive golf at a course conducted by Penn State University, the Salute Military Golf Academy, and members from the National Alliance for Accessible Golf.

Returning home to Michigan, Millman began the Millman No Restrictions Golf Foundation, in addition to his teaching business known as the Simple World of Golf.  This past August 30, in partnership with the Michigan Paralyzed Veterans of America, Millman held a clinic for anyone with a disability, and most were military veterans.  Several companies sponsored the event, presenting a $1,000 check to Millman’s foundation, which will go towards the purchase of adaptive golf equipment.
