US and World Cup Super Senior stalwart Jerry Moore seems to have good fortune smile on him each and every time he tees it up in WGTF competitions.  This year was no different in that department, but it was different in another area – the amount of the prize won.  Moore scored an ace on the 11th hole of the Panther Lake course during the final round of the United States Golf Teachers Cup, and in the process won a 2012 Hyundai Sonata that was offered for a hole-in-one on that very hole.  The hole played 188 yards to a back right hole location from a slightly elevated tee, so Moore could easily see it go in, as did fellow competitors Bill Hardwick and Ed Williams.  The odds of a scratch handicapper like Moore making a hole-in-one from 188 yards is approximately 10,000-to-1.  Congratulations to Jerry, and we trust he will enjoy his new ride.
