For the last eight years, we have been holding three demo days a year for our corporate customers, their employees. and our regular students. Everybody likes to try out the new “hot” equipment for the year, and because of the total number of corporate employees to draw from, this event is well-attended and never gets old! Our supplier sends demo clubs from every popular golf company for our testing day. Included are the new longer drivers, higher fairway and hybrid clubs, and more accurate irons. Testing includes various shafts and lofts so we can correctly fit every person. Because we have so many new golfers, a very interesting fact has come to light – almost all new golfers have a tendency to slice. We’ve found the reasonably-priced Orlimar “Anti-Slice” offset driver, fairway clubs, and hybrids always end up our number-one in sales! Demo days at private clubs or the local golf store would not consider a club that retails for only $200. But remember, the real reason for a demo day is to find the correct club that fits the need of every individual student. Corporate demo days have really been enjoyed by our students, and these one-day events have proven to be quite profitable for us, too, averaging sales of $5,000 per demo day.
