Sunny South Florida to Host U.S. Cup this October

Plantation Preserve Golf Club in Plantation, Florida, just west of Fort Lauderdale, will play host to the 26th annual United States Golf Teachers Cup on Monday and Tuesday, October 24-25, 2022.  The course is a regular host of the second stage of Korn Ferry Tour Q-School, is in excellent condition and is a great and enjoyable test of golf.  The U.S. Cup is the flagship event of the USGTF, bringing professionals from around the country and several international locations together for two days of enjoyable competition to crown national champions.

This year’s event, as in the past, will feature a concurrent pro-am.  All U.S. Cup participants may bring one amateur partner, although this is not required in order to compete for the Cup itself.  Play will be held in four divisions:  Open, Senior (ages 50-67), Super Senior (68+), and Ladies.  The entry fee of $525 (including for amateur competitors) include two rounds of tournament golf, range balls prior to play, prize money, and a closing luncheon and awards ceremony.  Note:  All amateurs must carry a valid GHIN handicap index from the USGA or the equivalent from their home country federation.
