Over the years, the USGTF has been proud of its history of inclusion, giving people from every background the opportunity to earn certification as a teaching professional. The USGTF certification course held September 22-26 at Royal Lakes Golf & Country Club near Atlanta is one more instance of this. New USGTF member Greg Williams suffers from multiple lateral sclerosis (MLS), but that doesn’t slow him down.  USGTF examiner Vic Wilson has high praise for Williams, saying, “You can see immediately when his game goes south but it is quite obvious that at one time he was a low-handicapper. He had tremendous teaching abilities and was near perfect on the Verbal Test. I would not hesitate him teaching my children, grandchildren, or whomsoever else.” Another member of the class is Matteo Roccia, a young Italian golfer who desires to teach children. Those at the course think that Roccia has all the natural ability, instincts, and know-how to pursue a professional playing career. He is passionate about the youth in his country and he is sure to do well pursuing whatever endeavor he chooses. Roccia continues in a long line of international members of the USGTF. The USGTF is proud to have Greg Williams and Matteo Roccia as members.  Welcome!
